Keep stock identifiable, locatable and ready for its next move
AM Services stores inventory by client and SKU, assigns warehouse locations, records operational movements and connects available stock to the next approved FBA, DTC, B2B, kitting or rework workflow.
Storage starts after the received quantity and SKU identity are clear. Inventory is organized so the warehouse can find the correct stock again without relying on memory, carton appearance or an assumed location.
Storage records can include:
Client or account
SKU or product identifier
Received quantity
Warehouse location reference
Inventory status when stock is not yet available for normal outbound work
Relevant notes carried forward from receiving, prep or rework
The physical storage format depends on the product, packaging, quantity and available capacity. Those requirements are confirmed before a new inventory program is accepted.
Record movements instead of overwriting the count
Inventory changes because units are received, picked, moved, kitted, reworked, returned or shipped. A useful warehouse record keeps those operational movements attached to the SKU so a discrepancy can be investigated instead of corrected with no context.
Movement activity can include:
Receiving additions
Put-away or location transfers
Pick deductions
Kitting component consumption and finished-unit creation
Rework status changes
Removal or disposition activity
Agreed physical counts and reconciliations
Keep stored stock connected to fulfillment
Storage is most useful when it is tied to the next action. Available inventory can move into an FBA prep request, a DTC or B2B order, a kit build or another approved outbound workflow without creating a new disconnected stock record.
Before a storage arrangement begins, AM Services confirms the expected inventory profile, handling frequency and capacity requirement. Product types that need unusual, regulated, hazardous, oversized or otherwise specialized handling are not assumed to fit the standard storage scope and require separate review.
